Welcome

Beautification is looking forward to 2019.

We will be continuing our many town projects along with a few new enhancements.  Its a time of year to plan for the warmer months and look forward to Spring.  Please see the News section for more details.

We welcome new members and hope to see new volunteers.  You can reach us at: BayShoreBeautification@gmail.com

We hope you enjoyed all the holiday decorating which is a join effort between Beautification and the Chamber of Commerce of Bay Shore.  This community relies on the team work between the Chamber, Schools and Volunteers.

New Gardens at the Train Station

Decorate Downtown for the Winter Holidays

The Street Garden Program is underway, and ten gardens around town have been selected for the attractiveness they add to our street fronts. Look for photos of the winning gardens displayed in the library showcase. Winners also receive a copy of the photo. Next year, think about recommending your garden for this honor—it just has to be a garden, small or large, that can be seen from the street. Send your name and address by mail or to our email and identify which part of your property should be considered

Veterans from the Beacon House are again hired to weed and clean our downtown area from June through October. Beautification has funded this program for many years and it is a pleasure to see our streets litter and weed free. Do you remember when it wasn’t???
